Duals Recap

The lady mustangs had a great week, splitting duals with Santa Rosa and College of the Redwoods on Wednesday and taking Second Place in the first annual MJC Women's Wrestling tournament on May 4th.
On Wednesday, the Lady Mustangs shut out College of the Redwoods 35 to 0 and lost a hard-fought match 35 to 20 to Santa Rosa. Winning both duals were Linda Mora, Alejandra Ochoa, Lola Rodriquez Ochoa, and Zoey Ridenour.
On Saturday, the Mustangs competed in the First Annual Women's Wrestling Tournament, taking 2nd place as a team. Taking first place were Kayleen Tuavao, Zoey Ridenour, and Alejandra Ochoa. Placing second was Linda Mora, and third was Kiana Quintero. So proud of how the girls wrestled this week. We will be in action on April 17 at Palomar College in San Diego.
