The "Revenge Tour": How Delta College Volleyball Reclaimed the Big 8
STOCKTON, CA — San Joaquin Delta College Mustangs entered the 2025-26 campaign with a singular mission. Dubbed the "Revenge Tour" by sophomore standout Paige Taylor, the team has done more than just compete—they have dominated California Community College women's volleyball.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Molly Hummel, now in her 15th year, the Mustangs secured the Big 8 Conference title with a flawless 16-0 conference record. The team's chemistry has been fueled by a "we versus me" philosophy, pushing them to a 19-game win streak heading into the postseason.

The program's sustained success is deeply tied to Coach Hummel, who recently surpassed the 300 career wins milestone at Delta. Her leadership earned her both Northern California and Big 8 Coach of the Year honors for the 2025 season. For local athletes like Taylor and Gray, Hummel is more than a coach—she is a mentor who prioritizes character-building as much as court skills.
Looking ahead to the 2026 Beach Volleyball season, the Mustangs will look to continue their winning culture across the Big 8 circuit.
