Delta College Women's Volleyball Finishes Stellar Season — and Excels Academically with 3.61 Team GPA
Stockton, Ca. — Delta College Women's Volleyball capped an exceptional season both on and off the court, compiling a 29–2 record, earning a #5 finish in the state, and posting a cumulative team GPA of 3.61. Three team members earned perfect 4.0 GPAs this semester, emphasizing the program's commitment to academic excellence.
"Our players gave everything this season — in practice, in competition, and in the classroom," said Head Coach Molly Hummel, who just completed her 15th season as Head Coach. A 29–2 record and a top-five state finish are tremendous accomplishments, but our students' academic success is equally, if not more, important. We're proud of their dedication and balance."
"Balancing athletics and academics isn't easy, but our team supports one another, said Karlie Spencer, one of the 4.0 recipients. "This season showed what we can achieve together."
