Big 8 Conference Crown Secured

San Joaquin Delta College Women's Volleyball has been a sight to behold all season long. After closing out the regular season with a win over American River College on Sophomore Night last Wednesday, the Mustangs extended their remarkable win streak to 19 games. Delta also completed a perfect 16-0 sweep in conference games, being crowned Big 8 Champions in the process.

Their standout performances have drawn statewide attention. Outside hitter Hadlee Gray and setter Paige Taylor were both named to the 3C2A's All-State Team. Gray currently ranks second in the state in both total kills (460) and kills per set (5.05). Taylor leads the entire state in assists per set with an impressive 12.10.

Delta Volleyball will take the court at home this Tuesday, November 25, as the No. 1 seed in the NorCal Regional. They will face the winner of Saturday's matchup between Ohlone College and Reedley College.
