San Joaquin Delta Steps Up at 77th Annual CCCAA Swimming Championships

Orange, Calif. — The San Joaquin Delta College women's swimming team showcased strong performances at the 77th Annual CCCAA Championships on April 30 - May 2, 2026, highlighted by new school records and top finishes.
The Delta College A team delivered an impressive fifth-place finish in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 4:03.39. Individually, Crystallyn Tran led the Mustangs with a phenomenal showing, breaking the school record in the 200 Fly with a fourth-place time of 2:13.17 and in the 100 Fly, securing sixth place. Kylie Richardson also made a significant impact, breaking the school record in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:25.48, earning her a sixth-place finish.
Victoria Guzman added to the team's success with a seventh-place finish in the 500 Free at 5:19.54 and a ninth-place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 4:48.90. Mo Schmierer also competed in the 400 IM and 100 IM. The Delta College A relay teams continued to excel, securing ninth in the 200 Free Relay, eighth in the 200 Medley Relay, tenth in the 800 Free Relay, and eleventh in the 400 Free Relay.
"This is one of the fastest state championships we have seen in years," said a Delta College coaches. "We are so proud of how our team performed and competed at the highest level of our sport representing Delta College."
