San Joaquin Delta Women Shine at Bob Miyashiro Invite Day 1

STOCKTON — The San Joaquin Delta College women's swim team opened the Bob Miyashiro Invite on March 19, 2026, with strong performances and season-best times. The Mustangs showcased their talent across various events, setting a positive tone for the competition.
Highlighting the day's events, the San Joaquin A team secured a second-place finish in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 4:11.26. Earlier, the San Joaquin A team also posted the fastest Delta relay time in the 200 Free Relay, finishing third at 1:43.94. Individually, Victoria Guzman led the Mustangs with a fifth-place finish in the 500 Free, touching the wall at 5:27.28. Other notable individual performances included Kylie Richardson's sixth-place finish in the 50 Free (26.03) and Crystallyn Tran's ninth-place effort (26.53) in the same event.
"We are thrilled with the grit and progression from the morning swims into finals. The team is trusting their training and flat out racing, it's very exciting to watch!" said Coach Varosh.
