Mustangs exceeding expectations at Bob Miyashiro Invite Day 2

The San Joaquin Delta women's swimming team delivered strong performances at the Bob Miyashiro Invite on Friday, March 20, 2026, showcasing their competitive spirit.

 

Crystallyn Tran led the Mustangs with an impressive second-place finish in the 100 Fly, touching the wall in 1:00.75. Victoria Guzman also had a notable outing, securing fourth place in the 400 IM with a time of 5:01.45. The San Joaquin A relay team demonstrated their strength, taking third in the 800 Free Relay with a time of 8:16.56, an important step as the Mustangs look towards state qualifying.

 

"When your relay sets the tone for the hardest day coming up, it's absolutely electric!" said Coach Hosmer. The Mustangs continue to keep pace with top teams in the state as they reach mid-season form.
