Delta Wrestling Team Shines at David Pacheco Invitational

The Delta College Mustangs wrestling team competed at the David Pacheco Invitational held at Sacramento City College over the weekend, finishing 8th out of 12 participating teams. Four Delta athletes stood out, placing in the top 8 of their respective weight classes.

• Marcus Mireles (133 lbs) – 2nd place
• Francisco Maring (184 lbs) – 4th place
• Rylin Mitchell (133 lbs) – 7th place
• Justin Barillas (174 lbs) – 7th place

The coaching staff expressed pride in the team's performance and looks forward to building on this momentum at the upcoming West Hills Tournament on Saturday, September 28th.
