Bio
Andraya Perez begins her second season as an assistant coach at Delta College, returning to the place where her collegiate career started.
During her time at Delta in 2021-2023, she earned her AA degree in Psychology. Following her two seasons at Delta, Andraya continued her academic and athletic career at Dominican University of California from 2023–2025 on a basketball scholarship. There, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Communications. She’s currently getting her Master’s Degree in Coaching and Exercise Science from the University of Concordia, Irvine.
Basketball has been a huge part of Andraya’s life for as long as she can remember, shaping her leadership and passion for guiding others. After finishing her collegiate career, she knew she wanted to give back to the game that has given her so much. Coaching provides her the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student-athletes while staying connected to the sport she loves.
In the future, Andraya hopes to become a head coach of a women’s basketball program or work as a sports psychologist, combining her love for basketball with her background in psychology.
