Mustangs Softball Dominates Fresno in Five-Inning Shutout Victory

San Joaquin Delta Softball secured an 8-0 run-rule victory over Fresno at home on March 19, 2026. The Mustangs offense produced 10 hits and brought in 8 runs through the fifth inning, maintaining their season record at 17-6.
 
Pitcher Elisa Galli delivered a complete game shutout, allowing only 1 hit and 0 earned runs over 5.0 innings. Galli also recorded 5 strikeouts against 1 walk, keeping the Fresno offense contained throughout the contest.
 
Offensively, several Mustangs contributed to the scoring surge. Suae Beatty went 3-4 with a run, while Elizabeth Avila was a key offensive contributor with 3 RBI on 2-3 hitting.
