Opening the season with a victory, the Mustangs' football team is off to a 1-1 start to the season and looking to make this season one of their best in quite some time.
Even though this season hasn’t been what Delta’s football team had hoped for, it still seeks to finish the year off in the best way it possibly can.
The start of a new season always has some uncertainly and this year will have that even more with everything going on but there is no denying the perhaps uncharted excitement for the Delta College football team as they kick off their season on Saturday, September 4th with a 1:00 pm kickoff against Reedley College at Lawrence A. DeRicco field.
While the fall football season went by without any games being played it has not stopped Delta College Head Coach Gary Barlow and his team from adapting and controlling the things that they can control and continuing to get better.

Traveling across the country to play for a school that did not win a game the season before may not seem like an attractive option, but that has not stopped Alvin Howard from helping the Delta football turn things around this season.

The Delta College Mustangs did everything they could to get their offense into the game but spent most of its time trying to get their defense off the field.

BUTTE VALLEY — The Butte College football team wanted to start off the season with a strong performance. So did Delta.
