Taison Corio delivered a pair of solo home runs in Delta's 7-2 victory over Diablo Valley. Corio homered in the the third and sixth innings. Vinny Bologna collected two hits including an rbi triple. Lead off hitter Bryan Rosario scored three runs on the day.
Robert Gasser improved his recors to 5-0 allowing just two runs on four hits while striking out seven. Gunner Mayer and Jakob Fredrick each pitched an inning of scoreless relief. With the win the Mustangs improve to 14-4 and 3-2 in the Big 8 while the Vikins fall to 8-9 and 1-3 in the Big 8. The two teams will finish the series on Sunday at 12:00 at Delta College with Diablo Valley designated as the home team.
