Zack Mathis made an early statement with a two-run home run in the first inning. He followed that with a tape measure shot in the the third that landed on the tennis courts well beyond the right field fence. Zack finished the day 3-5 with three rbi. Vinny Bologna added a solo shot in the seventh as the Mustangs earned a 7-5 victory against a very good Mission College team.
Robert Gasser earned his third victory of the year by throwing 5 1/3 innings allowing two runs on four hits with eight strikeouts. Noah Denoyer, Troy Wentworth and Gunner finished the game and combine for seven more strikeouts over the final 3 2/3 innings.
