Freshman pitcher Nick Swanson commits to University of the Pacific

First Team All Big 8 closer Nick Swanson has accepted a scholarship to play baseball next year at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Nick is one of SEVEN D1 commits for the Mustangs joining shortstop Beau Philip (Oregon State), outfielder Jordan Vujovich (Oklahoma University), firstbaseman Jake Cruce (San Diego State), pitchers Nick Avila and Raul Rizo (Long Beach State), and pitcher CJ Whelan (Tulane).
