Delta opens up Big 8

The San Joaquin Delta College beach volleyball team has officially started Big 8 Conference play with two big road wins. The Mustangs secured wins over Solano and Santa Rosa during a doubleheader on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Santa Rosa, CA. 

• Delta 3, Solano 2: Delta won at the No. 1, 3, and 5 positions to clinch the dual.

• Delta 4, Santa Rosa 1: Delta won at the No. 1,2,4 and 5 positions to secure the team wins. 

The team currently holds a 6-2 overall record (.750 winning percentage) 

The Mustangs will host their next Big 8 matchups on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the University of the Pacific: 

• vs. Folsom Lake: 10:30 AM PST

• vs. American River: 2:30 PM PST
